MS Antispyware Beta causes slowness in the 16-bit Subsystem

Hello-

I have a customer with an old version of Timeslips (Attorney software for
time keeping). With MS AntiSpyware loaded the application takes ~3 minutes
to load. If I turn off MS AntiSpyware the app loads in seconds (like it's
supposed to). I need to tell MS AntiSpyware to not scan the c:\Timeslips
folder or any .exe run from that point. How do I do an exclusion?

Thanks.

I think at this point I would pull the software and wait for beta2 to put it
back. If this isn't an isolated problem with a particular install, I don't
know of a fix. You might fix it by disabling real-time protection, perhaps.

See the workaround paragraph of this kb article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892375 End users may be prompted to allow or
block administrative actions that originate from a central management tool
after they install Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) on a computer that is managed
by Systems Management Server 2003
