ms anti spyware not catching spyware

i have an infection and ms antispyware is not catching it. i tried to do the
suspected spyware report but it is not working i get a prompt to check my
proxy settings.
in the lower righthand corner of my screen next to the time in with all my
usual icons there, there is a red circle with a white X. it pops up a bubble
every few seconds saying"your computer is infected. windows has detected a
spyware infection" then says click here and windows will download anti
spyware for me. i dont think this is right. can anyone help

You most probably caught the spysheriff spyware
