MS Anti-Spyware could not connect

I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problems as me,
when I try to up date MS Anti-Spyware, all I have been getting for the past 2
days is:- 'Warning could not connect to the Internet' or is it just me?

I did looked at earlier posts with the same problem, but it appears this
does happen sometimes!

This message can be caused by any interruption of connection between the
client and the servers--this could be caused by the servers being
unavailable, but the most frequent cause is a software firewall on the
client machine.

Many thanks for your reply Bill. I think it would appear to be as you said
'the server not being available' for me to connect, as it is now back working
properly. I didn't think it would have been a firewall problem as some
earlier post suggested, because it had been connecting!

I have had the same kind of problem but with the Suspected Spyware Report --
it produces an error message that I shoudl "...check my internet proxy
sttings and try again" -- this is a continuous error msg --

The suspected spyware report error you mention is a known bug. I'm afraid
there is no workaround for it, however.
