I am currently looking into upgrading my ms 2000 server to a ms 2008 server
w/ a 64 bit processor.
I noticed that the highest memory upgrade I can do for this 2000 system
right now is 2GB. I know I will need at least 4GB of ram for the new O/S.
Being a newbie to all this. My question is .... Can I put 4 GB of ram in the
server now even though max is 2GB? I will be clearing out the old O/S and
installing the new one so will it make a difference?
