Hi,

I am trying to play an movies MPG in PPT, I had install it as movies. Tested
on local PC it work but once on the web server... hoping to get it work so
PowerPoint file will be view from the web. The user will follow some link on
the web site then came to this to open the PowerPoint, one open it should
view the movies, but it is saying it don't exist! I look it up, it is
because it still point to the local path of local drive. Don't know how to
change it to give me the results I needed.

So how do I make this to work?

Thank,

Try uploading the movie to your site then see if PPT will allow you to insert
the link from there.

Or try saving as HTML and putting that on your site instead of the PPT.

For server use the smallest file is going to help with bandwidth. A .wmv
file will be much smaller, as long as Mac playback is not an issue, this
would be a better format than .mpg. The PFCMedia add-in (pfcmedia.com) is a
good tool for inserting multimedia into PPT and it will re-render to an
optimized .wmv.
