I have had loads of MP3 players over the years, Samsung, Creative, Sony, you name it I have owned it..

But at this moment in time I own an iPod and although I hate saying it, I just couldn't go back to a bog standard MP3 player anymore, they don't come with fm radio's built in but you can purchase the add-on, as to the size well thats up to how many albums you wanna put on the thing!

Oh Amazon are the place to buy as great guarantees

4 to 6 GB would be enough?
Good battery life?
And easy to use & download music to?

I still love my Creative Zen, which has an FM radio and "unlimited" GB ('cause you can use SD cards to expand the memory.)

I use it a lot. Normally I download music from Amazon.uk, using their interface... it's simplez... even for me!!

It sounds great when played over external speakers, or with Sennheiser noise cancelling earbuds. Well pleased with it. :thumb:

I-Pod all the way.

But I-Tunes is crap, use Winamp for library management.

I-Pod does need an add-on module for FM radio though and batteries aren't (meant to be) swappable.

Creative Zen when I last looked had swappable batteries and also an inbuilt FM tuner.

Plus it has a record function, for dictation, if you're that way inclined.

Gotta be either the I-Pod or the Zen.

In favour of the I-Pod for 2 reasons:

They look great.

m4a files definitely sound better than mp3.

It really is about time that somebody made a portable music player that handles both FLAC files and receives DAB radio.
