Moving XP User account

Is there any way in which we can move an account (XP Professional) from one
computer to another.
I need to recover some files which reside in a damaged XP hard drive. I can
take ownership of the user account but the files will not open correctly. Is
there any way in which an entire user account be moved (including certificate
and key) so that I can have that user and ID on the newer hard drive?

If you've only couple profiles to transfer, the File And Settings
Transfer (F.A.S.T.) Wizard should suffice.
