moving hard drive problem

My computer is failing but the hard drive with WinXP on it is good. I want
to move it into a similar (HP) computer. I am getting a stop error for
possible driver problems. "Stop: 0x0000007b
(0xfafd8640,0c0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)
I have thought about doing a repair install but thought I should check with
the news group. Does any one know if this will work or will it just cause
more problems.

Hi you can put the hard drive in the new computer then reinstall XP and do a
REPAIR and it will work ok. As far as the Stop # if you want to know what it
is do a search on Google and it will tell you what it is.
