moving files from one machine to another

Good day

I was asked to move outlook files from an old desk top XP pc to a new
Vista laptop

there are 12 outlook pst files named from outlook to outlook1 to
outlook6 pus a few random ones ending with letters

the plain outlook pst file ended in April 2007 all are date coded the
same day from a corrupt ending with help from Microsoft she got it going
How do I know which is the currant one to copy over?

Hi Stephen,

you can open Outlook?

If yes, click on "Outlook Today", right mouseclick => Properties => Advanced

Have a look in the field "Path" and here you can see which PST file is
"activ".

If this is the PST file you want to move, move it.
