Moving DHCP Server

Hi Guys do you know of any good articles or how to move a DHCP server in a
Domain? Or could we just install a new one and uninstall the others and
move the scopes, reservations etc? Is this tool approved to work on this?

Microsoft has a great tool to move the DHCP database to a new server.

I used it to move DHCP from a NT4 to a W2K server and it took about 2 min.

The best way would be to install DCHP on the server you want to to move it
to, create an identicle scope to your current server, but do not authorize
the server. When the new one is all set up like the old one, take the old
on off line, and authorize the new one. It will take over at that point.
Then uninstall DCHP form your old server before you put it back online.
