MovieMaker recognizing video files for editing

For whatever reason, when loading videos from a flipcamera onto the PC and
then launching MovieMaker, no videos appear in the videos folder, yet I can
go to MyDocuments and see the files - is there somethign special you have to
do for MovieMaker to recognize the video files? thx

Converting the files to a compatible format like
..wmv might be the fix.

The following freeware can do the conversion:

(FWIW...it's always a good idea to create a System
Restore point before installing software or updates)

Format Factory

(FWIW...when installing...you may want to uncheck
all the boxes on the final screen)
