Moviemaker and .mov

Hi there

I'd like to use movie clips I've taken on a digital camera, but Moviemaker
does not support .mov files. Is there Microsoft software to convert .mov to a
supported file type? Or does anyone know of a free (or inexpensive) file
converter? I downloaded an evaluation version of 'Digital Media Coverter 2.6'
but this puts a big stamp on the video. It is US$39 to buy the full version.
