How do you clean out original source files information and start over clean
again with the same project ?

My original project had 430 pictures at 2mb each, 8 songs, transitions and
exceeded the total movie limit (whatever the limit is ?) so I changed the
size down to 200 kb each, now when I import the smaller pictures into the new
collection it still shows the older original dimensions ? I cannot save the
new project to the hard drive or burn it to a DVD. It plays great from Movie
Maker.

Your collections database is...MEDIATAB0.DAT...
or maybe...MEDIATAB1.DAT...or...

Look in the following folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\>user name<\Local Settings\
Application Data\Microsoft\Movie Maker\MEDIATAB0.DAT

Rename it or delete it. Then you can start fresh.
Re-opening Movie Maker will create a new empty .DAT file.
