Movie Maker crashes

When I attempt to "Save Movie File", Movie Maker crashes, and it also crashes whenever I do anything with the storyboard / timeline

same problem here..... tryed this but didn't work for
me..... hope it works for you

Go to the post I made a few minutes ago. I solved the crashing by setting the Direct X Override to Default. Do it in Direct X Diagnostic Tool>More Help>Override>click on Default.
