Why does it crash?

I've just started using Windows Movie Maker, after having it forever, and i
split clips up and everything to make a movie. well, when i put it onto the
storyboard/timeline thing, as soon as i do it crashes and says it needs to
shut down. EVERY TIME. sorry but does anyone know how to fix this kind of
problem, because i downloaded 2.0 and it's still doing the same thing.

after installing IE7. If this applies to your
situation ...uninstalling IE7 may be worth
a try.

BUt wait! it can go in the timeline, but now the video just doesn't even
show. shoot, i can HEAR everything, but the videos don't play.
