Move Outlook Calendar to New PC?

C

Chris B

I have an older Dell with Windows 98 SE and Microsoft Outlook 2002. I use
this only for the calendar and scheduling feature. I use Outlook Express
independently for all email and newsgroups. I prefer it is this way and
have gotten used to it for almost ten years.
I now have a new HP PC with Windows XP Professional Media Center with
Microsoft Office Outlook 2003. I need to move my calendar files from Outlook
2002 in the old Dell to my new Outlook 2003 in the new PC. I have tried
backup.pst with no action.
Any ideas. Thanks for your help.

Chris.

Copy the .pst file to your new computer's hard drive - put it wherever you
wish. Open Outlook and use File->Open->Outlook Data File to open your old
..pst file. Then, use the File->Data File Management to configure your
default .pst file. Close the new one.
