Our mouse is possessed. It sticks to the right side of
the screen, and whenever we get it to move away from that
side, it always goes back. W've uninstalled and
reinstalled the driver many many times, tried other
drivers, unplugged, rebooted, kicked screamed and cried.
Our anti-virus software found nothing wrong, nor did PC
Doctor, DrWatson, or Windows itself. We've just
reinstalled XP, and the mouse is still messed up. It was
even like that durring the installation of Windows.

PLEASE HELP US!

Thanx!

Since this is an XP newsgroup, not a Mouse Newsgroup, try swapping out the
mouse you are currently using. You want to find out if it is the mouse or XP
that is suffering from demonic possession.

I'm sorry you have gone to so much trouble and frustration. You really should just borrow another mouse and try it, since most likely that is the only problem. Fortunately, a mouse is one of the least expensive and easiest components to replace on a computer.

Try another rat.

Replacing it is not going to solve the problem.
I have a dell inspiron 4000 laptop and am using a
microsoft wireless mouse and kepboard, and am getting the
problem every now and again. It is frustrating as it also
affects the touch pad control of the mouse.
