Mouse trouble

On one of my PCs, the mouse cursor keeps disappearing into the border of the
screen. This is a new behaviour and shows up with two different mouses
(mice?)
Any ideas? Thanks

Are you describing "Pointer Crawl" ? - it moves on it's own. How does the
mouse connect to the PC ( PS2 or USB ) ?. If it's a Logitech brand mouse
are you using the older Mouseware support software ? If so, you need to
update to the newer SetPoint software.

Mousing surface can also be a factor - what type of mouse pad ( if any )
are you using. Also is the mouse an optical or "Ball" type ?

Thanks, R McCarty. The problem was the mouse pad - one with a Harry Potter
theme and some near-read colours.

Try turning OFF "Enhance pointer precision" in Mouse Properties, Pointer
Options.
