I have several different mice I use (only 1 at a time) to change my hand
motion (to prevent carpel tunnel). The latest mouse I bought came with a CD
IntelliPoint 6.1 to set the mouse up. It seems to only allow I mouse to be
set up. Does this mean I should re-run it and set up for the new mouse I
will be using each time I use a new mouse (about once a month)?
Or does it keep the old mouse installation and allow you to change it
without reinstalling? Or does it really matter? I have never used
IntelliPoint when I change mice, and the mice have worked as I have changed
them, but the new one is a wireless, so there is probably more to it than USB
connected mice.
The best solution is that the OS would keep each mouse installed/configured,
so you could just choosed, instead of only keeping the current one.
Anyway, just trying to understand how it works and what I should do when I
change mice.
Thanks
