mouse stopped working

I am using Vista and office 2007
Today my mouse stopt working in word.
I can move the mouse over the screen but it does not react to the any mouse
button.

can someone please help?

This has been reported as the result of third party add-ins. LaserFische and
FlashPaper are known problems and there are probably some others not yet
confirmed.

If you have no add-ins, please let us know what mouse and what computer you
are using too.
