Mouse scroll in Access 97

I just got a new Logitech cordless optical wheel mouse. But the scrolling
doesn't work in code windows in Access 97. It does work in all other windows
in A97. I replaced a Microsoft (corded) optical wheel mouse which would
scroll *anywhere* in A97. Anyone heard of this one before?

I found a solution to this problem in Visual Basic 6 and it works well. It
can be found at:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-uMicrosofts;837910

I still am searching for a soultion to the problem that Ron describes. After
implemeting the solution in VB6 I believe that their is one for Access 97. I
am using a Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0 which is wireless with Version
5.0 drivers. I do not believe that the problem is device specific. If anyone
found a solution or has applied the above VB6 to access please let us know.

Thanks

It is the later drivers for the MS IntelliMouse that fouled this up.
Earlier drivers (I believe 3.5) work fine.

Try freewheel, it works.
