Try reinstalling the Mouse Software. Intellipoint for a MS mouse is available
for download at MS Mouse and Keyboard web site. The mouse is easily &
inexpensively replaced. You should try another mouse.

Hello Snuffy,
If the above suggestion does not correct the issue, likely, you have a
Trojan working on your OS, can't remember the Trojan noun name but that is
just one of the things it does to an OS. NOTE: Be very cautious using third
party Spy and Trojan dectors, commonly a remnant remains within your registry
communicating with the source. If you have not yet downloaded and "Saved"
this Microsoft application try this first, also, when saved to a folder you
can Run the Program anytime you desire. Download this Microsoft application:
KB890830 -known as a Malicious Software Removal Tool. Also, in the IE address
bar type; HOUSECALL and then press Enter, that will guide you to a known safe
place for testing for Trojans and SpyWare.
