Mouse Problem

Windows2K Pro with SP4 with all the latest windows updates.

I am having a strange problem with the mouse.
01) The mouse is not visible. The mouse can be operated using a keyboard
with mousemu.exe programme, but as is obvious one does not know where
the mouse is. so it is not very useful. Navigation through a programme
is using [tab] key. The keyboard is working fine.
02) In the Hardaware Device manager, there is no listing for Mice and
other Pointing devices.
03)In the Control Panel->Mouse->Hardware, no driver is listed.

How can I solve this problem?

Find the right driver from the vendor of the mouse and install it.
