After setting up Windows XP Home, the mouse driver has
been incorrectly set to a USB mouse instead of a serial
mouse. As a result of rebooting, we can't get any further
than the log on screen as both mouse and keyboard function
has failed. Is there any way of pointing XP to the correct
driver without buying a USB mouse? Please help. Thanks Si

I'm not sure why an inappropriate mouse driver would render your
keyboard useless.

Either way, a USB mouse costs about $5 online. Seems like an easy
solution to me.
