mouse is crazy

my mouse shoots around the screen and then is impossible to find for like a
few secoinds...anything i can do about it? it happens very often like every 5
minutes

Did you try to plug another mouse

Try turing down Hardware acceleration:
Display Prop~ , Advanced, Troubleshoot; here you will see hardware accel~
Take it down a notch or two and see if the issue still happens. If so you
may be in need of a video driver update.

This can also be cause of bad I/O of a hard drive device (SATA).

hey mr backup thanks it worked but now i haeva another problem...instead of
it shooting into nowhere now it shoots to the start button juts as
often....help!

If NOT cordless and still using "ball-type", remove ball, clean
"vertical" & "horizontal" guide rollers of accumulated rubbish (using
wooden part of a pencil to prevent damaging nylon rollers), replace
ball and test pointer. Good luck, substance.
