Mouse Gone?

Hi,

When I installed win 2k it booted up and the mouse pointer
was gone. I thought it was just the drivers so I used the
keyboard to nav to the device manager to update the
drivers I used the default drivers that were on win 2k and
it pointer appeared and that was fine... until I rebooted
and the same thing happened again and again.

My house is a Packard Bell Optical USB mouse.

Any help would be great.

Have you looked for a driver from the manufacturer?
