Mouse goes crazy !!

Every now and then my mouse without clicking on any part
of it opens loads of windows which all start flashing up
and down like the machine has gone crazy, does anyone know
what this is and how to solve it

Go into your control panel\mouse and click around the tabs
until you find "smart move" and uncheck this options. Keep

Look for the x-mouse function in control panel \ TweakUI. I'm
surprised that it wouldn't do this all the time, though. Basically the
presence of the mouse is supposed to give an area focus without
clicking on it. In combination with a single-click option, it can also
launch applications rather than just making them the active focus.
