I just wrote a post a few minutes ago (1:03 AM by Dan)
about installation problems with XP, so here is some more
to add to it. I did get one semi-stable installation off
of my CD, but had to trash it because the entire computer
kept on freezing whenever I move the mouse -- it mostly
happened while I was on the internet, but occationally
other times too.) Anyway, I wiped out the installation,
upgraded the bios (as suggested in one of the Microsoft
articles,) and reloaded windows 98 'cause XP now refused
to install at all. But now the mouse is doing the same
thing in windows 98, albeit not as frequently. It didn't
used to that before. Any ideas about this one? Thanks in
advance.
