Mouse freezes on startup

the other day i was online and a window popped up. it was something about
send error now or dont send error. it does it a quiet a few times and this
time i clicked send error report and since then when i turn on my computer
the mouse stays in one spot and doesnt move. i have to use the tab button to
navigate. i even tried a different mouse as well as cleaning the port also i
unplugged all the cords and started over again. i tried everything. somebody
even thought it would be really clever to do a systems recovery which only
worked for a few hours i guess. because this morning its back at it again.
what can i do to fix and prevent this from happening again? Somebody anybody
please help

Try your mouse on a different machine and/or another known good mouse on your
machine to rule if it is the problem or not.

Have a look in the Event Viewer for a possible solution to the issue.
Click Start > Run, type in: eventvwr.msc and press Enter.
Double click any listing in the right pane to bring up details about the event, event
errors will have a link included in the details to follow for a possible solution.
