mouse doesnt works only while playing games

when i ran doom 3.. an error message said that dinput.dll was missing.. so
ive downloaded and installed.. now.. when i run doom 3.. appears the message
says that it was uneble to found something about DirectInputCreateA in (..)
DINPUT.dll .. after that... i installed another game.. and mouse doesnt works
too.. i have already installed directx 9.0c but.. now rosults.. i ran
dxdiag.. and it says no problems found.. so if anybody knows whats going
on... pleasee pleasee pleasee help..!!

meeeeee tooooo!!!! arrghhh... now in the readme in specificall
mentions "directx 9.0b" it should be degradeable but i dunno... hmm
if i put the dll in the games local dir it works but of course th
mouse doesn't. and i'm running the demo not the whole thing so
don't know. i'll let you know if i find somethin

It seems to me, that if dinput.dll was missing from your DirectX
Installation, that there could very easily be other problems with the
installation as well.

Despite that dxdiag found no problems, you had best reinstall DirectX.
