First off, let me say I solved this problem when I rebooted my
computer...everything is A number one "perfect".
But, I had excel open, when suddenly, my scroll keys (left, right, up, or
down) ceased to function...they would only scroll one cell at a time.
Concurrently, a "sound beep" would be heard on every keyboard stroke that I
placed.
In short, computer seemed to have 'froze.'
I closed every window, and rebooted the computer...now, all is perfect, i.e.
as before.
Is there an explanation as to what may have occurred (so I don't repeat the
error)?
Thanks and regards,
FLKulchar
PS: I "googled" this dilemma

'They' mention a complete Windows XP reinstall...but, I had just finished
that 1 week ago!!!!
