Mounting a .nrg image - which app?

Hello,

I'm trying to use a multimedia app that I received in the form of a
..nrg image. Since the image is 800MB and my burner can only burn up to
700MB (I've tried, believe me), I'd like to mount this image direcly
as a virtual CD on my computer. I guess I'll need a special app to do
this. I've tried the following things in vain:

- Nero 5 Burning Rom: This app can work with the nrg file, but not
show its contents
- DirectISo: This app could show me the contents of the nrg file, but
not mount it as a virtual CD
- CDSpace 5: This app presumably is able to mount images as virtual
CDs, but could not open the nrg image.

Can anybody pinpoint me to an app that can mount the nrg image as a
virtual CD drive?

Use WinISO to convert it to an iso image.

Nero is the app for .nrg files. Have you tried to explode the image to a
hdd? If it's an .nrg isn't it self exploding?

If you have an updated Nero, install the Nero Image Drive to view the
contents of an .nrg.

Good thinking, 99. You should spend more time in here, John. Your valuable
advice is valued and we have to put up with ****wits like Jay
Koblobotomovsky who insists that you cannot use voice frequency faxing over
the top of a dsl line.

Please note that I said your advice is valued, not you personally, whereas
relic is valued personally, but only because he knows too much about me.
