mount CD or DVD image

I have Nero ImageDrive, which creates a virtual drive from Nero .nrg CD/DVD
images; but I need to mount ISO images in a similar manner which ImageDrive
won't do.

I have heard of a free Microsoft utility called VcdControlTool which can
mount an ISO cd image as though it were another drive, but I cannot find this
file anywhere. I'm hoping somebody can point me to this or any similar
(preferably free...) utility.

DAEMON Tools is a virtual cd/dvd-rom emulator (among other things). It can be
configured to activate up to 4 drives, with images mounted or unmounted.


DAEMON Tools is freeware ONLY for PRIVATE USE.

DAEMON Tools supports the following image files:
a.. cue/bin
b.. iso
c.. ccd (CloneCD)
d.. bwt (Blindwrite)
e.. mds (Media Descriptor File)
f.. cdi (Discjuggler)
g.. nrg (Nero)
h.. pdi (Instant CD/DVD)
i.. b5t (BlindWrite 5)

The Nero Image Drive tool is really all you need. You can mount .ISO images
with it. Just change the File type from .nrg to either "All files" or ".iso"
