My xp machine's motherboard crashed/conked - stopped working. I took the hard
drive and put it into another machine with similar specs (512 M RAM, 2.6 GHZ
celeron processor). Everything worked fine, except for the sound. I thought
i'd load the motherboard drivers and utilities to improve the machine's
functioning. However, I stupidly inserted and tried to install a much older
drivers and utilities disk than the one which was appropriate for this
motherboard. It prompted that this was the wrong disk, but still installed
something. Now my windows wont load at all, not even in safe mode. How can I
uninstall what was put in my OS so that I can get it to load?
