I was working on my second computer and without knowing how, I uninstalled my graphic card. Now, I don't get into Windows XP at all, all I see is a black screen. There seems to be activity as per normal, but I don't see it. Can anyone help me... Is there anything I can do beside getting it to a repair shop

I have tried the VGA Mode without success..

I also tried to get the restore disk to boot...still no success.

Does anyone have an idea???

I had this happen , shut off the power to the computer and remove your
battery on the mainboard ... Wait 1 minute then replace the battery ..

Since you admit that you don't know what you're doing, take it to the repair
shop. You could end up frying your machine, or yourself if you're not
careful.

Hi,
I have tried the VGA Mode without success...

Am assuming in Safe Mode. If so, did you use this path:
Start/Run/Msconfig/Boot.ini/BaseVideo?

If confirmed, physically remove your display card from the system, unplug
the main power cord for 10 seconds, replace your display card, reboot.

Good luck!
