My desktop has somehow turned white. How do I get it to the way it was
before this incident. I have no idea how or when this happened. I don't
remember changing any settings in the display properties. Would a system
restore do the trick? I have no idea. Thanks.

I don't hink you need to resort to s system restore unless the following
does not work.

Go to your desktop and do a right-click and select Properties > Desktop and
select something you had or you like, Click Apply and close.

thanks. I fixed it. I had forgotten that I has set the background to "none"
