MOM.EXE cannot be loaded at startup?

Every time I start XP Pro, I get the message, MOM.EXE cannot be
found/loaded. Can anyone put me out of my misery? If I click OK to
continue, XP starts OK, but its beginning to become a real irritation now.
I dont know where it came from and how to remove it. Can anyone help me
please?

File mom.exe is located in a subfolder of "C:\Program Files". The file size
on Windows XP is 49152 bytes.
The program has no visible window. File mom.exe is not a Windows core file.
