MODEM ERROR

I recently upgraded to XP from 2000. My modem will not
work, although the device manager says it is working
properly. I use SBC Yahoo and there was no problem until
the upgrade.

I downloaded the driver from IBM for the ThinkPad for the
modem for XP and the driver from MicroSoft as
well...still the error message says tha I need to install
driver for the modem. HELP....

I had similar problem which sorted by installing a generic driver.
