Hello
I installed the admin.pak so I could have the option to
see Active Directory User and Computers, Active Directory
domain and trusts, Active directory Sites. But every time
I click on any of the above MMC to be able to look at the
Active Directory from my WinXP Pro I get the following
message:
Snap-in failed to initialize
Name: <unknown>
CLSID:{E355E538-1C2E-11Do-8C37-00C04FD8FE93}
Then if I click the OK button on the message box the
Windows on MMC open and a RED Icon with an X in the
middle shows up displaying: Snap-in Creation Failed.
-----------------------------------------------------
If I use MMC to see the web servers (IIS)that we have it
works fine, it is just presenting this problem when I
want to access the Active DIrectory above options.
I can access the Active Directory options from a Windows
2000 server or Win2000 professional so I know it is not a
permission issue with my account. Just with XP Pro me and
my co-workers are having this problem.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
