Got exact same message when attempting to use Diskeeper version 8, after
installing SP3. Got 3 choices with the error message. One was to connnect
with MS for a possible fix, another was to ignore the error, the other was
to not alert me again. Diskeeper support says this also occurs with
Diskeeper early version 9. And, to anticipate a fix from MS. Am still
waiting.

Additional information. MMC was replaced with a newer version as part of
SP3. The snapin, not MMC, is what is causing the problem. Diskeeper
continues to work, despite the error message. In your case, the snapin for
MMC may be part of the setup installation. If so, you have to have fix.
Check with the printer manufacturer.

Someone had this error a while back and I never heard of any fix being
released for it to date. I have not heard of Microsoft releasing or
planning to release a fix for this either. Have you? If they do and
you get it, do post to the group so we can all know about it. Cheers.

Still waiting for the fix.

Other diskeeper users are saying for me to go to latest version. That's
irrational to me as diskeeper 8 is still functional as is.

Yes, I agree. It worked fine in SP2 and I didn't see it on the list of
apps that might break with SP3.
