Missing Status Bar

B

Bill

I use IR v.6.0.2
How come whenever I launch IE, my status bar is never
there?
I always have to go: View--> Staus Bar
Then the next time I start IE, it is goe again.
Any way to keep the status bar so that it's always there
when I launch IE?

Thanks,
Bill

Verify the below Registry entries exist and are correct:
Start, Run and type regedit

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Show_StatusBar"="yes"
"Show_URLinStatusBar"="yes"

Note you can save the registry key first by:
On the File menu, click Export.
In the File name box, type SaveKey, and then click Save.
Or create a system restore point prior to editing.
