Status Bar Always On

How do I set the status bar to always be viewable when I
launch IE or open a new browser window. For instance, if I
select FILE,NEW,WINDOW, the window that opens has the
status bar off. I would like to have a status bar on all
IE windows however launched. Any suggestions?
