Status bar hidden

Hi all!

I'm in my IE window and the Status Bar is checked under the View options,
but I still cannot see the status bar. Apparently, the task bar is hiding it
when IE is on Max. View. How can I get the status bar to reappear?

Thanks for your help

AFAIK, that is normal. Right click on the Taskbar | Properties | Check the
Auto-hide option.

The status bar is still visible when IE is in maximized view mode
(assuming that is what you meant by "Max. View"). However, if you
really meant when IE is in full screen mode when you hit the F11 key
then the status bar doesn't appear, but then neither do the standard and
links toolbars or any other custom toolbars added.

Thanks! But is there a way to have both the status bar and the task bar
visible without auto-hiding the task bar?

By default. Alt-V,B and Alt-V,T,H could change that. ;)
