Missing status bar in explorer..

When using internet explorer i have the little status bar
down the bottom of the browser (the bar that tells me
when the pages is loading and what zone i am in etc.) but
when i click on my computer and navigate through my files
it doesnt have the status bar, it used to have it but its
gone now. Any ideas on how i can get it back?

To make your Status Bar reappear (and stick)

Close all your applications
Open Explorer (Window Key-E)
Select View, Status Bar (you should now see the status bar)
Goto Tools, Folder Options
Goto the View tab
Hit, apply to all folders
Hit ok to accept
Close that instance of Explorer

That should fix it for you

(note this is the procedure to get the status bar back in IE as well)
