Windows Explorer Status Bar - How to Keep

D

When Windows Explorer is first opened, the Status Bar does not show.
Under View> I can check Status Bar and the bar will show at the bottom
of the screen. I can close Windows Explorer and then later re open and the
Status Bar is still showing.
However, after I close the PC and reboot the next time, on opening
Windows Explorer the Status Bar again does not show.
How do I set this to show the Status Bar by default? I have looked but
cannot find where this may be set.
Internet Explorer on the other hand will hold the Status Bar setting
every time, only Windows Explorer is the problem.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Kelly,
Thanks for the tip. I thought I had done that, but I have done it again
now so I will see how it goes.
Thanks again.
