Windows Explorer, Status Bar

My status bar will not show in Windows Explorer by
default. I must go to the view menu and select status bar
each time. There must be a way to change a setting that
would force the status bar to show up by default each
time I open up a new windows explorer window. Any
thoughts?

Status Bar - Disappear

Windows Explorer/View/Status Bar. Then go to Tools/Folder
Options/View/Apply to all folders.
