missing program files

I keep gettong an error message stating that I have two missing program
files. When I look at the detail for each it says they cannot find the file
"mscoree.dll". Can someone please help this old man? When I do a Windows
search for the file nothing is found.

You'll have to download and install ".NET Framework"
to correct the missing "mscoree.dll".

Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...E3-F589-4842-8157-034D1E7CF3A3&displaylang=en

Afterward, visit the Windows Update web site to download
any recommended critical updates.

The error message means that you have not installed the .Net Framework,
which is required for your application, or if you have installed the
..Net Framework, you do not have the correct version.

The easy solution is to visit Windows Update and allow Microsoft to
update your computer.
