I turned on my computer and instead of loading windows I
got this message: The following file is missing or
corrupted. <windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe

Is there any way to fix this without reinstalling windows
xp? I tried booting from the disk and running the ASR
program. After checking and repairing, my computer now
starts at a menu where I can choose from: Start Windows
Normally, Start at last known configuration, Safe Mode
(etc.) I've tried all of them with no success. When I
attempt to "start windows normally" I get the Windows
start up screen for a bit, but then a blue screen flashes
and I get sent back to the original menu.
If anyone has any insight to this, I'd really appreciate
it!

My computer is doing about the same thing, did you get an
answer?
