I'm running winXP Pro sp2 with all updates installed. When try to view
"folder options/View/advanced options" in explorer the window is blank with
no information in it. Everything else is working ok. Does anyone know how to
correct this?
TIA

Hi Jon,

I reproduced your problem, I beleive you are having a permission issue on a
registry key. Start the registry editor (Start > Run > regedit.exe). Locate
this key:

[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]

Could you list what the Users/Groups permission are and post back with
results.

Thanks for answering, but i figured it out (with help!)

Registry Tree Options Utility

CLSID {AF4F6510-F982-11d0-8595-00AA004CD6D8}

C:\WINDOWS\system32\browseui.dll

in order to fix it re register the dll containing it , thus

run ->cmd and type in it

regsvr32 /i browseui.dll
