Missing/Not Available DLL files.

Missing/Not Available DLL files.

I noticed in System Information ==> Internet Explorer ==> File Versions the
following:-

File: iecont.dll - Version: File Missing - Size: Not Available

File: iecontlc.dll - Version: File Missing - Size: Not Available

Should these missing dll files be re-instated and if so how can I do that?

My OS: WinXP Pro SP2, IE7.

TIA........Kayman.

Don't worry about it.

I have the same deal in System Information. Neither file on my machine.

A search at
http://support.microsoft.com/dllhelp/
iecont.dll No results found
iecontlc.dll No results found

There are no documents that match for either file at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=FH;EN-US;KBHOWTO

They do not exist on my XP Pro CD either.

I have absolutely no idea whose files they are, but they are not Microsoft
files.

I have had XP Pro installed on this machine since; Original Install Date:
18-Feb-04, 9:34:24 AM. And I haven't needed those files for anything.
